The Kwanji team are proud to have attended the inaugural Africa Technology Business Forum during London Tech Week 2016.
With an overall theme of “turning challenges into opportunities through innovation”, the forum explored the exciting opportunities that have arisen due to the widespread adoption of new technology in Africa.
Hosted at the offices of Addleshaw Goddard, the Africa Technology Business Forum brought together a who’s who of investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals from the sectors of banking, finance, venture capital, private equity and mobile/telecom.
Kwanji’s William Lorenz attending ATBF
The event was attended by our very own William Lorenz (COO and co-founder), with the forum providing an invaluable platform for delegates and attendees to come together and share their respective knowledge and insights on how technology is rapidly changing the landscape for doing business across the African continent and how best businesses can adapt to these shifting challenges.
Taking place over a day, the programme included informative discussion panels, expert talks and breakout sessions and a startups showcase, before finally concluding with a curated networking and drinks reception.
The conference was brought together by the Africa Technology Business Network, a London-based social enterprise working to enable collaboration, skills transfer and investment between the UK and Africa technology ecosystems. To find out more about the ATBN click here.
